Heat Dishing for Monetary Conservation



my parents say gas is more expensive than electricity. so we have resorted to portable heaters. 3 to be exact. one is permanently located in my brothers room. its the bulky heavy radiator like one. he and my sister share the same thermostat. unfortunately they do not share the same opptimal sleeping temperatures. my sister likes it on the cool side, while my brother likes it toasty.

our other two dish heaters are moved into the respective colder areas of the house. one is usually downstairs while the other upstairs. my parents move the dishes all over the house. so at various times you will see a dish plopped on the floor in different locations. i wonder how effective this really is.

currently, ive stolen one to warm the bottom two feet of my room.
