Matt and Nancy compliment each other so perfectly. I remember Nancy as this quiet, soft spoken girl. But with Matt, she just glows and the volume nob just turns up. The joy he brings to her is so evident.

It is such an exciting time for them. Thank you again for allowing me and my camera to join in on the festivities.

I have the privilege of being asked to shoot Matt & Nancy's wedding yesterday. It's always so exciting to see a couple start their new lives together as a family.

They had a event filled ceremony at Fraserview MB church in Richmond. Even after such a long morning we still managed to trek out to Iona Beach to take some shots. Here's a quick process of the wedding party from Iona Beach yesterday following the ceremony.

what fuels you?

its quite interesting the literary vomit that occurs when one attempts to be a wordsmith when its obviously not flowing. this is one such case. yet I will continue in hopes that as the works fall off my fingertips that some sort of literary butter reveals itself.

i have this thought. and i guess its about fuel. or moreso the things that fuel us. its neat when we look about our life and try to find the joy in things. often times it may take a little while to build itself up in such a way that the "joy" feeling manifests itself in our soul. when this happens its so very worth it. "life giving smiles" one could say.

yet, the flip side of it all is quite - sudden. we need not build down. all it takes is one small thing can strike us from our pedestal of "life giving smiles" only leaving us tumbling down far below even our "normal". to a sub-normal, in the vernacular feeling crappy

so when i ask what fuels you. i wonder if the better question is "what knocks you down". to me in many ways avoiding the landmines may infact provide more utility for a person. imagine a life when everything were normal but not crappy. not so bad one would think. it would definitely change things for many people.

then again, i don't think theres an avoidable aspect. landmines are dangerous not because they are hidden but because they explode. so i suppose even knowing where such bombs are hidden does not stop the fact that they may explode. so perhaps it is futile to "avoid" but rather go back to that question...

what fuels you?
find it. and then chase after it. because, fueling up on joy constantly. it seems quite logical, can never leave is at the bottom.
