Today I go home, no more eating of personal belongings.
Sidenote: This blog should be renamed; no pictures, only one-liners

Those Little Irritants | Comments

1. Missing a spot shaving because you were in a rush and being stuck at work unable to do anything about it.

Chinese People Walking Tuesday, March 18, 2008 | Comments

I like to observe people and think about what they are thinking.

If you look around you'll notice that Vancouver is pretty Asian populated. I guess that's an obvious statement, so I digress to my point.

Today I was watching an old Chinese man tread along in the parking lot of safeway as I walked to my car after grocery shopping. He had this look of lonliness.

I wondered about his life and the circumstances that led him to Canada.

The questions as to what he gave up to come here crossed my mind. Had he come for a better life? One for his kids or maybe he was brought here as a grandpa import. I wonder if he was walking on the streets back home if he would still have the same look of lonliness.

I think about my parents and how they're very alone relative to when we're back in Brunei. I remember when we would go out they there was always a familiar face. I wonder if this is why the man was sad.

Was he alone, left to walk around town knowing no one? Maybe while his kids lived their north American lives.

I wonder...

Monday Mornings Monday, March 17, 2008 | Comments

Despite being out of school for a lil while now. I can say that the creative literary juices still flow best in the morning for me.

Mondays are always hard. Excuses to not go in to work always run through the brain.

Today its weird feeling stomach. I think the yesterday's meals may have been a tad too close to the spicy side of things. But I think God knows my love of nothingness. I have appointments today. People who need help and no one to fill in for me. The excuses never justify the other side of the spectrum.

Work is great once I'm there. I think I just enjoy the free spiritedness of the thought of not working. That, or I'm just lazy.

God give me what I need to get through the day as you always do.

Late Night Blogging | Comments

It's been one of those minimal interaction days.

Not that it is a bad thing. Vibes today say less is more. I needed to practice being a listener anyways. I'm sleepy. I think it's time. I can think when I'm coherent.

Phone Blogging Thursday, March 13, 2008 | Comments

I wonder what it would be like to blog on the go. I remember writing all these posts about thoughts that came to mind while I was out and about.

Perhaps this is the first of many. And thing is, I'm at my computer desk as I attempt to blog from my phone for the first time.
